Baby Corn Fritters



Introduction:

This is a super easy recipe to make and these deep fried crispy snacks will leave you licking the plate clean in minutes.


Ingredients:

12 baby corns

1 large egg

1 cup all purpose flour

2 cups bread crumbs

2 tsp paprika

3 tsp garlic powder

3 tsp peri peri powder

1 tsp chili powder

3 tsp salt(you can add more according to taste)

2 tsp black pepper


Method:

In a large bowl, add- flour, paprika powder, garlic powder, peri peri powder, chili powder, salt and pepper and whisk well.

Add the baby corns to the mixture one by one and coat them thoroughly.

*you can add all the baby corns to a box and close the lid and shake the container well to coat the corn properly*

In another bowl, crack an egg and whisk well.

Dip the corn in flour and then in egg batter twice, to form a thick coating on the corn.

Lastly, coat the corn with breadcrumbs.

Lightly press the breadcrumbs on the corn so that they do not loose shape once deep fried.

Heat the oil in the pan on medium flame.

Now, add the fritters one by one and deep fry them until golden brown.

Serve with tartar or sour cream onion dip and Enjoy!
