Apple Cinnamon Cake



• Introduction:

This simple easy to make and fast recipe of cinnamon sugar apple cake which is light and fluffy, loaded with chopped fresh apples, and topped with a crunchy cinnamon sugar layer is gonna become a new family favorite and perfect for every occasion!


• Ingredients:

1. 1½ cups cups brown sugar

2. ⅓ cup oil

3. 1 egg

4. 1 cup buttermilk 

5. 1 teaspoon vanilla

6. 1 teaspoon baking soda

7. 2½ cups flour

8. 2½ cups chopped apples (see notes)

Cinnamon Sugar Topping:

1. ½ cup sugar

2. 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

3. 2 tablespoon butter, melted

•Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180˚C, for 10 minutes.

2. In a large bowl, mix together brown sugar, oil, egg, and vanilla.

3. In another bowl sieve the flour and the baking soda.

4. Now, add the wet ingredients and and the buttermilk to the dry ingredients in 3 portions, and mix well till all the ingredients and incorporated together.

5. Pour this batter to well buttered cake dish.

6. In a small bowl, mix together the Sugar, cinnamon powder and the melted butter and sprinkle it all over the batter.

7. Bake on 180˚C for 45 minutes and enjoy warm!

baked it specially for the trip or mom dad anniversary. what is crunchy stuff sprinkled on top.The apple pie normally has inside filling only.Looks to be great though
